ACT Appoints New Media Director
WATERBURY, VT -- The American-Canadian Tour (ACT), sanctioning body for the New England Dodge Tour, has appointed Justin St. Louis as the new director of its media department, effective immediately.
St. Louis, 21, is a five-year veteran of the Allen Lumber Street Stock division at Barre, VT's Thunder Road Speedbowl and Plattsburgh, NY's Airborne Raceway. St. Louis picked up three wins during his tenure in the Street Stocks, and was later placed in charge of the upstart Warrior division at Thunder Road in 2003. He has also spent time behind the microphone at Airborne Raceway, where he has served as the announcer for two seasons.
"I'm pretty excited about the opportunity I have with ACT," St. Louis said. "I've been around this organization since I was four years old, first as a fan, then a crew member, driver, and race official, but this is something completely different. I'm sure I'll enjoy learning the ropes."
ACT President Tom Curley said, "It is great to have Justin join our company. He was a knowledgeable, dedicated, and passionate racer, and his youth and energy will bring a needed enthusiasm to our organization. He joins a veteran staff and I am confident he will help us meet the challenges that ACT faces in the next few years."
St. Louis will be handling responsibilities with the ACT New England Dodge Tour as well as Thunder Road, Airborne Raceway, and various special events sanctioned by ACT.
