Dave Whitlock Enters Thunder Road Milk Bowl : Raceway Media

Barre, VT - - Three-time CASCAR champion Dave Whitlock of Petrolia, Ontario, will compete in the 41st New England Dodge Dealers Milk Bowl this Saturday/Sunday October 2, 3 at Thunder Road.

Whitlock is one of only two drivers ever to win consecutive Milk Bowls (>94, >95). He will drive the McCall Racing No. 39 that fellow Canadian DJ Kennington drove to victory last weekend at the Dodge Dealers National 150 at Lee USA Speedway.

More than 45 Late Models are expected at the Milk Bowl, which is the final and decisive e2004 ACT Dodge Tour event. Entrants include ACT point leader Jean-Paul Cyr, title contenders Brent Dragon and Patrick Laperle, 2004 Thunder Road champion Cris Michaud, 2003 Milk Bowl winner Eric Williams and Derek Lynch of Warkworth, Ontario.

Lynch=s entry sets up a rematch of the 1994 Milk Bowl with Whitlock. Lynch was poised to win the event, but crashed with seven laps remaining.

The Milk Bowl is a two-day event. Admission for both Saturday and Sunday is $20/adults, $5/children (6-12). Sunday-only tickets are $15/adults, $5/children (6-12).
